   Crooked Lane Farm is a small, family farm located in Wellsville, Missouri and owned by Gene & Linda Langford. Gene grew up on a farm and became dedicated to producing healthy, all-natural meats and vegetables for his family. Soon thereafter he began selling his wholesome, home-raised products directly off of the farm, and then later to discerning patrons at regional farmers’ markets. Gene helped organize the first farmers’ market in Mexico, Missouri & was on the board of the Missouri Farmers’ Market Association, and Missouri Vegetables Growers Association. Gene & Linda are proud parents of 4 grown children and 10 grandchildren. Each generation is involved in working and playing at the farm. The farm currently boasts chickens, cows, pigs, as well as several vegetable gardens.  There is nothing added to our beef and pork – ever. No hormones, antibiotics, artificial ingredients, or animal byproducts are added to the animals’ feed. The cows and pigs are never confined and our handling practices minimize stress. They are raised outdoors, provided adequate housing, and given plenty of water. Our meat is processed at a small, family operated processing plant in Center Missouri.
